WIRA (in development) - Silver Salt Films - Feature 

A fifteen year old girl comes of age when she decides to leave her family to fight against the might of the Nazi occupiers during the World War II Warsaw Uprising.

Based on the book ‘Wira of Warsaw: Memoirs of a Girl Soldier’ by George Szlachetko, the screenplay for this film is being written by three-time BAFTA Cymru winning writer Tracy Spottiswoode and co-produced by Anna Rozalska (‘Arbitrage’) and Klaudia Smieja (‘The Innocents’, ‘Rams’) in Poland.

 

BLIND AMBITION (in development) - Silver Salt Films - Feature

A determined teenage girl fights for the right to live an independent life in her cabin in the woods, despite the fact she’s going blind. The screenplay is by comedian, actor and writer Georgie Morrell, recently nominated for BBC Audio Awards ‘Best Debut Performance’. Georgie is an advocate for disabled rights and regularly writes for The Huffington Post. ‘Blind Ambition’ is her feature film debut.

Long-listed for i-features 2018.

A darkly funny tale starring Dominique Tipper about an obsessive woman who becomes haunted by a little girl who manifests herself in all of the shiny surfaces in her home.

This series creates new films from the The South Bank Show archive, along with newly filmed interviews and and presenter Melvyn Bragg’s personal memories.  “Brief but powerful snapshots” – The Sunday Times

 

JOIN MY BAND (2011) - Join My Band Productions - Short 

A comedy drama about a boy who starts a band to impress a girl, starring Jessie Buckley and Max Fowler, with a score by Oscar short listed singer-songerwriter Lucinda Belle. 

- Won a “Special Mention” from the Jury at the Hamburg International Short Film Festival.

 

STRING (2006) - Father Films - Short 

A surreal short about a man on his way to work who finds a label which reads "Follow String for Happiness" on the ground attached to a piece of string. Intrigued, he begins to follow the string, gathering it up into a ball as he goes. Official selection at Palm Springs, Sao Paulo, Rome, and Waterford International Film Festivals, to name but a few.

SOUTH BANK SHOW - THE ROYAL SHAKESPEARE COMPANY (2010) - ITV Productions - TV 

Naomi shot and directed this historic film which was the last South Bank Show to be transmitted by ITV. It went behind the scenes as the RSC embarked on an ambitious and exciting new programme of work inspired by Russia and the ex-Soviet Union. Bringing to life artistic director Michael Boyd’s bold vision for an ensemble company, the film followed Boyd to Ukraine to meet Natalia Vorozbhit, the author of The Grain Store, one of the RSC’s newly commissioned plays. “Terrific” – The Guardian   “Stimulating” – The Daily Telgraph “Superb” ☆☆☆☆☆ The Mail on Sunday.
